Meanwhile, Google struggles to properly crawl and index your site because of technical problems nobody is addressing.
This scenario is more common than it should be. Many SEO agencies lack genuine technical expertise. They can produce content and build links because those activities require writing and outreach skills. Technical SEO requires engineering knowledge that content marketers often do not possess.
When technical foundations are broken, content and link investments cannot reach their potential. You build on unstable ground. The house looks impressive from outside while the foundation cracks beneath it.
What Technical SEO Actually Means

Track fixes and their effects. When technical changes are implemented, monitor whether the expected improvements materialize. This builds the case for continued technical investment and validates that fixes worked.
Consider whether your agency can actually help. If they lack technical capabilities, they cannot diagnose or fix technical problems no matter how much you pay them. You may need supplemental technical expertise from developers, a technical SEO specialist, or a different agency with engineering staff.
